Our Software Engineers  have an opportunity to work on our Clinical Documentation Integrity, Utilization Management, and Audit platforms. You’ll be challenged often and will find yourself working on all areas of the application domain across the full app delivery stack.While this is a hands-on role where coding is a large part of the job, equally important is the ability to lead a team to convert product vision to software design/implementation. Finally, this is an opportunity to work with a group of other passionate software professionals in an engineering-led culture to make healthcare better.Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using our advanced tech stackParticipate in technical and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product, and business teamsSelf-reliance, without supervision, while showcasing best design/communication/solution practices in daily works and tasksEnsure continuously improve our standard of engineering excellenceWhat You’ll NeedMinimum Requirements: BS in Computer Science/related area or equivalent work experience Ability to come into Austin office 1 day per week Strong experience with Node.js4+ years of experience building modern web applications2+ years current experience with modern web development and web UIStrong proficiency in SQL, CI/CD and Automated TestingExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong programming skills in at least two of Java, Typescript/Javascript, and Python languagesExperience working with frontend Javascript frameworks (VueJs, React, Angular)Travel to and from company headquarters is required for mandatory onboarding and company meetings.Preferred Requirements:Java/Spring and Node web applicationsPostgreSQLMicroservices and Distributed application architecturesBatch and Streaming Data processing using Kafka or similar data pipeline technologiesAI, Machine Learning and predictive algorithmsDocker/KubernetesFamiliarity with Healthcare domain including HL7, Claims/Payments data modelsPlease note this position is not restricted solely to the responsibilities listed above and that the job scope and responsibilities are subject to change.
