Role & Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with data teams (Analysts, Engineers, ML Engineers) to understand needs and challenges.
    • Propose, architect, design, and implement data stack solutions and best practices.
    • Enhance software engineering culture within the data organization.
    • Help isolate and resolve development, performance, and stability issues.
    • Continuously improve the software environment for data teams.
  • Must-Have Qualifications:
    • Highly experienced Python engineer.
    • Proven experience with internal tooling and automation.
    • Track record of supporting multiple product teams.
    • Understanding of programming language internals.
    • Advanced knowledge of software engineering practices and testing methodologies.
    • Ability and drive to self-manage, prioritize, and deliver solutions.
    • Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
    • Advanced knowledge in one or more of: containers (Kubernetes, Docker, Podman), Snowflake, AWS, Airflow, Kafka.
    • Experience with analytical databases and data analytics.
