What you'll do:
Be a pivotal member of the development team for a highly performant, SEO-optimized, and user-friendly website, ensuring that our caregivers have access to a seamless and informative digital platform.
Create highly cacheable pages that deliver lightning-fast load times and exceptional user experiences using React, Typescript, and Next.js.
Implement SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase Carewell's online visibility.
Ensure the new site experience adheres to web accessibility standards, making it inclusive and usable for all caregivers.
Design and implement clean, testable, reusable components.
Work closely with fellow engineers, designers, and product managers to bring the new site vision to life, while also providing guidance.
KPIs:
Site performance metrics: Significant page load times, Core Web Vitals, and overall site speed improvements.
SEO performance: Increased organic traffic, higher search engine rankings, and improved keyword visibility.
User engagement: Enhanced user satisfaction, increased time on site, and reduced bounce rates.
Accessibility compliance: Full adherence to WCAG guidelines and other accessibility standards.
What you'll need:
5+ years experience building clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, or equivalent experience demonstrating your expertise in front-end development.
Demonstrates attention to detail, maintaining structured and organized code and component libraries, with shared responsibility for maintaining concise and understandable code.
Hands-on experience in e-commerce storefront development, showcasing your ability to build and optimize online shopping experiences is a plus.
Deep knowledge of React, Typescript, Next.js and their capabilities, particularly in creating highly cacheable pages and optimizing performance.
A strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques, coupled with the ability to implement performance optimizations that deliver measurable results.
